Will Zheng

Prior to joining Chicago Capital in 2022, Will co-founded Serionix in 2011 and served as COO. He also worked in the venture capital arm of Zebra Technologies.

Will received his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Zhejiang University. He is finishing an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Outside work, Will served as a referee for 16+ scientific peer-reviewed journals. He enjoys running half-marathons, triathlons, playing basketball and reading.

Will lives on the North Shore of Chicago with his wife and two children.
